Hi! My name is Sarah McNeil, I'm a graphic designer, illustrator, artist, printmaker, knitting pattern designer (and more?).
I graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, and shortly after began working full time as a commercial illustrator and graphic designer. This has included working to tight deadlines, fine detail illustration work/producing work in various styles to suit clients needs, use of the Adobe suite, Figma, social media and marketing, negotiating, and liaising with clients.
I have taken part in exhibitions and artist residencies worldwide. I started a boutique risograph printing studio in 2014 and this lead me further towards graphic design and creating artist books. I enjoy teaching book art and print workshops for adults and children in galleries, libraries and schools. I believe that art and design is for everyone, and I love being able to facilitate this through workshops.
In the future, I hope to work on more packaging and book design, and continue with my current projects.
